JSC “Race Telecom” provides an access to Internet resources using technical abilities of SPIN™ satellite network. LinkStar product, on which basis a ground segment of SPIN™ network is implemented, is an advanced tool for making an effective broadband two-way access to any networking or informational resources of Internet.

Internet access for SPIN™ customers is available at the very high rates: up to 10 Mbps in a direction from the Hub to remotes (VSAT) and up to 1.5 Mbps in a way back – from any VSAT to the Hub. It’s important that an access speed as well as a quality of provided service do not depend on customer geographical location.

“Last mile” problem could be solved quickly and inexpensively for any SPIN™ network customer. What is even more important, that it could be successfully done regardless of professional activity of local providers. In order to make a twenty-for-hour access to Internet resources SPIN™ network customer shall be equipped by a VSAT and a personal computer only. LinkStar terminal that is used in SPIN™ network is quickly installed equipment. Terminal does not occupy much place at customer site and does not need a permanent technical service from a provider side. After completion of both procedures installation and putting VSAT into operation every SPIN™ network customer is able to get a connection to chosen services. In the case of customer geographical migration the terminal can be easily disassembled and later reinstalled at new customer site.

High rate of access and reliable connection make usage of Internet resources for every SPIN™ network customer as a comfortable and cost effective procedure.
