For a long time satellite communication (used for provision of an Internet access and a voice transfer) was exceptionally utilized by major companies and government services. This time has passed. With the appearance of the Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) technology, the cost of equipment of satellite terminal has been considerably diminished. The ground segment of SPIN™ satellite communication network is implemented with the usage of LinkStar, a satellite network product developed by ViaSat Inc. (USA), and network equipment by Cisco Systems Inc. (USA) The Central Earth Station of SPIN™ network is located in  "Bear Lakes” Space Communication Center. The space segment of the network is based on a capacity of the Russian geostationary satellite group "Express." This has allowed to extend the coverage area for satellite network customers as much as possible and to obtain a high reliability in service provision including data, voice and video transfer as well as satellite Internet access.
